Finding a trend is easy; staying in it without getting faked out is hard. The TCL MTF Trend Blaster is designed to solve this by offering versatility. Different market conditions require different tools. Instead of clogging your chart with ten different indicators, you simply select the Signal Mode that fits the current market behavior.
The indicator includes eight distinct algorithm engines:
False signals often happen when you trade against the higher timeframe trend. This indicator includes a built-in MTF Filter. If you are trading on M5, you can require the H1 or H4 trend to match your signal before an arrow is painted. This significantly increases win rates.
Knowing where to enter is half the battle; knowing where to exit is the rest. The Trend Blaster automatically calculates a Structural Stop Loss based on recent ZigZag swing points. It even checks the distance in pips—if the Stop Loss is too wide (e.g., >20 pips on M1), the signal is cancelled to protect your Risk:Reward ratio.
| Market Condition | Recommended Mode | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Strong trending market | Mode 2: SuperTrend | ATR-based stops ride trends without early exit |
| Range breakout expected | Mode 7: Bollinger Squeeze | Detects low-volatility compression before explosive moves |
| News/volume-driven market | Mode 4: Volume Profile | Only enters when volume confirms the breakout (1.5x average) |
| Classic confirmation needed | Mode 1: MA + RSI + MACD | Triple-confirmation filters most false signals |
| Higher timeframe confluence | Mode 8: SuperTrend + RSI | Best all-rounder — recommended starting point |
| Cloud breakout trading | Mode 3: Ichimoku | Kumo cloud + Tenkan/Kijun for Japanese-style analysis |
| Countertrend / reversals | Mode 5: Divergence | Finds hidden divergence between price and RSI across timeframes |
| Volatile expanding markets | Mode 6: Adaptive ATR | EMA crosses filtered by expanding volatility |
Pro Tip: Start with Mode 8 (SuperTrend + RSI) — it’s the most balanced mode for beginners. Once you understand how the indicator behaves, experiment with other modes based on current market conditions.

Different market conditions require different strategies. "Volume Profile" works best for breakouts, while "SuperTrend" is better for riding long movements. "Bollinger Squeeze" is specific for low-volatility expansions. Start with Mode 8 (SuperTrend + RSI) as an all-rounder.
The indicator calculates the Stop Loss based on the most recent market swing (ZigZag High/Low). It then checks if this distance is within your "Max SL Pips" limit. If the stop is too wide, it won't give a signal, protecting you from bad risk/reward trades.
Yes. The dashboard scans 9 timeframes (M1 to MN) and updates the trend direction and strength every second.
No. The signals are confirmed at the close of the bar. Once an arrow is printed and the bar closes, it is fixed.
Yes. Buffers 0 and 1 hold the Buy and Sell prices respectively. You can connect these to an Expert Advisor for automated trading.
MTF confirmation means the indicator checks if the higher timeframe trend matches your signal before painting an arrow. For example, trading M5 with H1 confirmation ensures you're not entering against the bigger trend — significantly increasing win rates.
